Hey Guys! Good to see you again thanks for stopping by :) So this week's post is a very exciting one all about my 22nd birthday party! And as you guys couldn't be there in person I thought I would share with you all :)

I don't know about you guys but I really love planning and organising events so I just couldn't wait to get planning my party this year! So naturally my party theme was pink, pastel, princess and I wanted it to feel relaxed and playful as well as glam and popping ;) I got tonnes of inspiration from Instagram and fellow bloggers and tried my hand at a little DIY which I will explain later on. If you know anything about me you know I love everything pink and floral so that was my main theme when it came to decor, For a full list of where I got all my party decorations keep reading until the end ;)

So my birthday is actually on the 28th of September but a lot of my friends would be unavailable on that date so I moved it forward and I'm so glad I did :D So I hired a house on Airbnb which had a gorgeous garden so my plan was to have a cute little garden party. But to my despair on the morning of the party it did nothing but rain! Normally I would have totally freaked out and maybe even cancelled but I was so looking forward to seeing everyone and getting my boogie on it didn't faze me.   So we decided on plan b that we would have the party in the house. Luckily the house was also very nice and large enough to host it.

I wanted to have a main display table with food and drink for people to help themselves. I had all my favourite food like pizza, jalapeƱo poppers, hummus and salami. And of course an abundance of champagne. I noticed on Instagram a lot of "bling" champagne bottles with crystals and flowers and thought they looked really cute so I decided to make my own. It was so easy I literally spray painted the bottle gold, added some Swarovski crystals and used the bow from an old perfume bottle and voila! Ive started the tradition of keeping bottles from special occasions and using them as candles holders I've got my 18th, 21st and now my 22nd birthday and this bottle will look particularly cute in my room :)

Here's a list of where I purchased my party decorations and accessories...

  • Rose bouquet cake from Sainsbury's
  • Flowers kindly sponsored by Interflora
  • pink and gold paper straws from Ebay
  • Gold glitter cake topper from Ebay
  • Pink bird plate from H&M home
  • Rose gold mason jar vase from Etsy
  • Pink striped popcorn containers from Ebay
  • Rose gold picture frame from Poundland
  • Floral stacking boxes from B&M

I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We all had a really great time and it was so nice getting to catch up with all my friends. I hope you have enjoyed this post please leave me a comment down below you know I love to hear what you guys think!

Now as voted for on my blog poll you guys want to see my bedroom tour in my next blog post so your wish is my command ;) Keep a look out for that one!

Thanks again for your support it truly means the world to me you guys are awesome <3

Hey guys good to see you again, And hello to you if your new here thanks for stopping by :)
So if you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that I recently holidayed on the lovely island of Ibiza. I truly did have an amazing time :D And I wanted to share my experience with you lovely lot, Enjoy!

So my friends and I had been planning a holiday since the beginning of the year, They both really wanted to go to Ibiza but I was a bit apprehensive, Mainly because its seen as the "party island" I was really worried that it was going to be crazy when all I wanted was to relax. But My friend Arianne assured me I would enjoy it.

Our flight was so disgustingly early at like 5:30 am so I wasn't really in the holiday spirit to start off with lol. But on the flip side we did arrive at 9am and had the full first day there which was great.

So when we arrived we checked straight into our hotel, changed our clothes grabbed some food and went straight to the beach which was literally across the road from our hotel. The weather was of course glorious so we got some cocktails and sunbathed until the early evening :)

Whilst in Ibiza I really wanted to go and see the old town with the cute historic buildings and breathe in a bit of culture after all the KFC,Vodka and all you can eat buffets.

Now the old town was situated on top of what I can only describe as a small mountain, But I'm sure any reasonable person would call it a hill but that person did not walk to the top in 32 degrees lol. The Views were really amazing you could see most of the island. The houses were all adorned in beautiful flowers and pastel coloured doors. We stopped to have lunch and a cheeky Banana Daiquiri at a quaint little cafe.

We all also really wanted to charter a boat and go and explore the Ibiza coast.  Miraculously they all suggested I should sail which if you know me is a big shock! But I must admit i''m a pretty good sailor ;) Managed to park it with the anchor and everything.

The Mediterranean sea is just perfect it's so warm and crystal clear it was really beautiful the pictures don't even do it justice. So we anchored up in this fabulous little cove and had a lovely little Spanish picnic and managed to guzzle down a few bottles of prosecco ;) Naughty naughty.

So there you have it, That's my Ibiza adventure in a nut shell. I wish my trip had been longer seven days just isn't enough, I think I will definitely visit again! So I hope you guys enjoyed this post thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Sorry If I have made you need a holiday now ;) If anyone is off on their holiday soon I hope you have a lovely time!

See you all very soon!

XOXO

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog :) Hope you are all doing well! Firstly I just wanted to say a big thank you to everybody who has taken the time to read my blog and send me such lovely comments! It really means a lot to me :).

This week I'm going to tell you how to travel the world and have fun on a budget, I personally love to travel to new places but don't always have a big budget, Now I must admit we won't be flying private nor staying in a five star hotel, But it will have priceless experiences and the downtime we all now rarely get. I visited the enchanting city of Barcelona again in march which will now be the third time I've visited I love it that much! I even spent my nineteenth birthday there and it was defiantly one of my best birthdays ever.

Me and my friends Cassie and Arianne on our way to Dublin in April

So first things first... travel. Luckily air-travel is constantly becoming more and more affordable notably with european budget airlines such as Ryanair, Who often offer fares for as little as £1. If you are fortunate enough to have a flexible schedule and a get up and go attitude its easy to take advantage of the low fares and enjoy weekend get-aways many times a year.

For example my return flights to Barcelona in march only cost a total of £44.98, Yep.Its amazing. It's so ridiculously inexpensive that it would cost more to travel within the UK by train than to flight via another country. As Jordan cox hilariously proved when he flew from Sheffield East Midlands to Stansted London via Berlin to save money.

Budget airlines charge a bloody fortune for luggage so you'll need to make do with hand luggage. Trust me if you pack strategically you'll be able to cram loads in, I pack pretty much my entire life when I go away and manage to cope just fine.

You will most probably need to be at the airport at an un-godly hour and stand in queues for what seems like a decade, Flexibility = Affordability.

NEVER BUY FOOD ON THE PLANE, Not only is budget airline food pretty gross but its always disgustingly expensive! Including drinks! So plan what you might fancy before hand cuz who doesn't love a snack ;)

Get to the front of the queue! Ryanair and a few other airlines carry the policy that only a certain number of cabin bags can be taken on the plane meaning they would need to check your bag into the hold luggage, Now although they don't charge you ( unless its over sized then they slap a fine on you -_-) It would mean that you would need to queue up yet again and claim your bag from the carousel and "aint nobody got time for dat"

DON'T FORGET YOUR BOARDING PASS! The paper might as well be made out of gold for the amount they charge for reprinting, check, check and check again!

So now that we've got your plane ticket sorted lets find somewhere to stay, Accommodation can sometimes be the most expensive part of any trip but there are a few tips and tricks to get the best deal.

Accommodation can vary quite a lot, from a shared hostel with no bathroom to 5 star luxury with chocolates on the pillow. I personally enjoy a few little luxuries so would probably go for something in the middle but by all means you do you.

Heres how to save money on your hotel to put towards a few extra cocktails on the beach...

Ask around!     There are now 100's of hotel compare sites always promising the best price, But why not give a few hotels a call in the area you are looking to stay, Let them know the price you have been offered and politely ask if they can beat it. It doesn't hurt to ask!

People really appreciate loyalty,
So if you've stayed at a particular hotel in the past and had a good experience why not contact them and let them know how much you would love to stay there again I'm sure they could squeeze you in.

Keep an eye out for cancellations!  Cancelled rooms are a nightmare for hotels and they will do almost anything to have them filled. So check online and with the hotel directly and just see if they have any rooms they need filling you could nab a real bargain!

Phone a friend!   Now this one may seem obvious but I thought it did deserve a mention, Stay with a friend or relative! You never know they may even accept pizza as payment

And lastly, Stay mid week!   Just like with flights flexibility can work wonders, But do be vigilant with this tip as some hotels directed more towards business travellers may hike prices mid week so do some research.

So there you have it, Those are my tips from me to you hopefully you enjoyed this post and found those tips helpful! If you guys have any personal tips you use please share with us sharing is caring :)

Thanks again guys for reading my blog see you next time!

xoxo

Hey guys thanks again for popping by, Today Im going to be talking about how I make money at home and other genuine methods to make some extra cash.

The internet is overflowing with promises of get rich quick schemes and fake work from home jobs, So it's really hard to tell who is telling the truth. I have been working from home for around 5 years now for a few different companies so heres how I personally make my money.

Taking calls from home was my first work from home job. I had been previously working in a call centre and I loved the idea of being able to work when I wanted without having to leave the house. So after a very long dredge though the internet scams I found a company called Arise Virtual Solutions. I was still even skeptical throughout the recruitment and training stages but once the first pay check came in there was no looking back.

With Arise you have complete control over which companies you service and when you service.
They always have lots of opportunities to choose from with some very famous companies.
Depending on the client you service and if you meet certain call targets. You can earn between £7-£15 per hour which is pretty decent for sitting around in your PJ's. And you don't just have to handle calls either, You can service customers via live chat and email too.

Now Arise does not directly employe you, We work on a self employed basis which means you need to join an existing independent business to be able to work, Or like I did you can create your own limited company and truly be your own boss. If any of you are interest in working for Arise Im happy to help answer any questions you have. You can email me at thejamienetwork@virginmedia.com :).

I found this company one day after having a long look around google, When I first signed up with User testing they were still quite new and unheard of but in the last few years they have really grown and have a lot more tester's. So you are basically testing websites for companies and individuals making sure they are easy to use and fully functional. You can earn an average of between £10-£15 for a 15 minute testing session which you cant really complain about. The testing is quite easy you just need to make sure you say out loud everything you are doing and comment on anything you think isn't working very well.If you prove to be a successful tester you may also be invited to test mobile apps as well which can be very lucrative. User testing are still accepting new applications so if you are interested go and check out their website :)

Another company I use to make some extra cash is Mystery Shoppers UK. Now they do not have as many opportunities as the other companies mentioned and I've only had two assignments to date, But they are a fun and easy way to legitimately make some extra cash. If you don't want to leave the house you can participate in phone shopping where you call a company and score the experience based on the criteria you have been set. The great thing about mystery shoppers is not only do they pay for your time and travel expenses but quite often you get to keep you're purchases too! They have even been known to offer test flights and holidays how great would that be, Free holiday!

So there are the ways I make some extra cash from home, If anybody knows of any other ways please share with us in the comments we'd love to hear them :) Thanks again guys for visiting my blog big hugs for you all see you next time! xoxo

Sunday, 13 March 2016

Hey guys! Thanks again for visiting my blog :). Firstly apologies for the lack of posts lately I have been crazy busy, But I'm back and posting every other Sunday! Recently I've been buying a lot of home goodies so I thought I would share with you lovely lot. Hope you enjoy!

This haul is mainly made up of kitchen items as they are my favourite to buy and if you can't tell already the colour scheme for my kitchen is pastel's. I found this set of tins on eBay and fell in love straight away. They are by a brand called Tala and they are famous for making vintage inspired kitchen accessories. I love the colour of course and I really like the vintage designs.

EBay £15.99

Next up are these pretty pink dinner plates from H&M Home, If you've never looked in H&M Home I really recommend it. I had been looking for pink dinner plates for a while and I didn't just want plain boring plates, So when I stumbled across this set with a cute little budgie I just had to have them!

H&M Home £4.99 each

Like alot of people I am obsessed with copper kitchen-ware and I wanted a range of copper pans. Copper pans are on the pricey side but if you look after them they really are an investment and will last years! These were actually a Christmas present so I'm not sure of the price.

Salisbury's £15-£35

Of course sticking with the pastel theme are these cute vintage inspired tins. I thought they went really well with the other items I have purchased and they were really affordable.

B&M £3.99

This griddle pan was an absolute steal at £15.99. Its a pink cast iron griddle pan by Le Creuset and the pre-sale price was £64.99! This pan will last years and looks beautiful to.

T K- Max £15.99

Unfortunately the lamp I ordered hasn't arrived yet, typical! So here is the website photo. Going with the copper theme I needed a new lamp for my office and I love these adjustable desk lamps.

EBay £39.99

And that is all for this haul! Thank you once again for reading my blog I appreciate every single one of you. Sorry this post was on the short side.
